Safety recalls issued for auto defect meant to save lives

A product defect that leads to a consumers injury or death is no laughing matter and must be addressed as quickly as possible. Safety recalls are reported quite frequently in the United States, and millions of automobiles have been recalled this year alone for a variety of issues. Vehicle owners in Texas who have been injured or lost a loved one due to a supposed auto defect have every right to question the safety of the car and the manufacturing process.

Texas man injured in motorcycle accident

Driving any type of vehicle isn't without risk, although some are considered more dangerous than others. For instance, a motorcycle rider is more likely to be injured -- or worse -- in an accident than drivers or passengers in other types of vehicles. A recent motorcycle accident in Texas serves as an example of the type of damages motorcycle riders may suffer if an accident does occur.

Texas car accident: leading cause of death among teens

In preparation for National Teen Driver Safety Week, it seems appropriate to talk about the sobering statistics surrounding teenage drivers. Available statistics show that in 2011, over 2,600 teens ages 16 to 19 lost their lives to car accident deaths. Along with those killed in crashes, almost 300,000 were injured in these wrecks. Texas has, unfortunately, seen its fair share of these incidents.

Many truck accidents in Texas attributed to truck driver fatigue

As the economy continues to get back on track, the need to transport goods is ever-increasing. There seems to be more commercial semi-trucks out on Texas roads today than ever before, and because of this, there are also more truck accidents than in years previous. It is believed that one of the leading causes of these accidents is truck driver fatigue.

Bicycle accident in Texas leaves cyclist in critical condition

Cyclists are seen in increasing number across Texas. For some, this is a recreational activity, while this is their preferred mode of transportation for others. Regardless of a cyclist's reasoning for being out on the road, safety is a huge concern as being involved in a bicycle accident can have serious physical consequences. The human body is incredible in all that it can do, but unfortunately, it doesn't stand much of a chance when placed head-to-head with an automobile.
