Driving is a privilege, not a right. When a person gets behind the wheel of a car, he or she bears a great responsibility to pay close attention to the task at hand. This can only happen when the driver has a clear head, free from drugs or alcohol, and distractions are minimal. However, not everyone adheres to these rules, and sometimes the results are tragic. Sadly, such was the case recently when a fatal accident occurred at a Texas intersection.
Many Texas drivers can recount details of an accident they have been involved in at some point during their driving history. Car accidents happen every day in Texas and throughout the rest of the country. However, some accidents cause more serious injury to vehicle occupants than others, and in the case of some incidents, the person that may be at fault flees the scene before authorities arrive to investigate. This seems to be the case when a car accident happened at a Dallas intersection.
Many Texas residents own and enjoy a motorcycle, whether as a part-time hobby or as their main mode of transportation. Although these vehicles can certainly be fun to drive, unfortunately, motorcycle drivers are typically more vulnerable to injury than drivers of other vehicles, such as cars and trucks. Although the cause is unclear at this point, several people were recently involved in a motorcycle accident that included a pickup truck; sadly, the motorcycle driver did not fare well.
Many Texas residents can probably remember a time in their youth in which they participated in a prank with friends. Such incidents can provide fun moments that develop into amusing anecdotes later in life. However, this is not always the case, and for a young Texas teen, a recent prank resulted in a fatal accident, a murder charge and likely a tragic memory that will stay with him the rest of his life.
As part of Christmas festivities, many Texas residents enjoy an alcoholic beverage or two. Although everyone knows the potential dangers of driving under the influence, unfortunately, some people still get behind the wheel of a car after drinking. This may have been what happened recently when a suspected drunk driver and a police car were involved in a serious car accident.
