Amy Cadwell and her family are from Austin, Texas. Licensed in the State of Texas in 2007 she began her career as a criminal prosecutor in the Nacogdoches County District Attorney’s Office. Wanting to move closer to home, Amy joined the Navarro County District Attorney’s Office in Corsicana, Texas.
During her time in Corsicana, Amy became the Chief of Crimes Against Children/Sexual Assaults. Ms. Cadwell spent seven years at the Navarro County DA’s Office and tried over 50 cases before a jury. The jury reached a guilty verdict in over 85% of these trials. Included in these were cases for murder, aggravated robbery, continuous sexual abuse of a child; aggravated sexual assault, and many other aggravated and serious felonies.
In 2016 Amy joined the Texas Attorney General’s Office in the White Collar Crime and Public Integrity section of the Criminal Prosecutions Division. While at the AG’s Office Ms. Cadwell prosecuted public officials and white collar criminals, including four jury trials. Wanting to move away from prosecution Ms. Cadwell joined Lorenz & Lorenz and is excited to engage in the practice of personal injury law.
