Bailey was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She graduated from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor in 2013 with a Bachelor in Theater Arts. She then went on to Western Michigan University – Cooley Law School where she graduated in two years.
During her law school tenure, Bailey served as the Managing Editor of Law Review, the SBA President, a Constitution Law teaching assistant, a graduate assistant, and a grade appeals board member. She earned the Meryl Mankovitz scholarship and the leadership achievement award. In 2017 Bailey took the February Michigan bar exam and July Texas bar exam. She was admitted to practice in August and November.
